Principal's Message

Regents Park Christian School is committed to providing a Christ-centred learning community. It aims to develop a holistic approach to education based on Biblical principles and a Christian worldview. As a multicultural, multidenominational Christian school community, we work in partnership with families who share a common vision for Christian education and Christian growth.

Every person is created in the image of God, unique and valued by God. Our role is to help young people develop an understanding of what that means to each of them.

We believe in caring for each student, and helping them discover and develop their gifts. We teach students how to learn effectively and how to learn in community.

We start from the understanding that we are made to live in relationship with God and with mankind. Hence we start with the belief that a person needs firstly to be viewed as a person, secondly as a student and finally as a Board of Studies candidate.

Regents Park Christian School has a tradition of ministering to other groups, both within and beyond Australia. We seek to teach and equip students for lives of service. We seek to help them grow into Godly and courageous citizens. We seek to help students also focus on their eternal destination.

The school has developed a strong focus on Creative Arts and Sport. It also has excellent programs supporting the spiritual development of the students, as well as the development of Christian leadership.

The school’s motto is Grow up into Christ. Our focus is always on growth, change and development. As educators we aim to be excellent role models for our students and committed to our own personal and professional growth.

Regents Park Christian School became a K-12 single campus school in 2011. The school has built a new Primary section with state of the art technology and teaching. The Primary has nearly doubled in size in the past few years because of the focus on spiritual growth, academic excellence and working in partnership with parents.

The appointment of a Director of Teaching and Innovation and a Student Wellbeing Coordinator, has allowed the school to become known for its innovation in learning as well as its excellent academic care program. Based on biblical principles, the academic care program seeks to integrate academic care and pastoral care. The students are then more engaged and equipped for learning. The Primary department has been recognised for its commitment to collaborative learning and data rich assessment to explicitly direct teaching.

Regents Park Christian School is a ministry of Regents Park Community Church. Situated near the geographic centre of Sydney, it is well served by rail with many students coming from more than 20 different suburbs.
